    Hit up my honey hole and caught a decent batch of Crappie. Used my new Sweetheart Panfish rod from Thorne Bros., and it is one heck of a stick! It is the most sensitive rod I have ever used. I could feel EVERYTHING! Used the Custom Jigs and Spins, Demon jig topped with a live crappie minnow and watched the slabs ascend! What a evening of fishing! The biggest crappie of the batch was 12″ long, the other varied from 9-10″.

    Thanks! It was great, right when I dropped the jig down, 7 ft from the bottom, the crappie would rocket right up. They were hungry tonight!

    That looks like a good meal! I just had me some fresh crappies from the weekend and they were tasty! Congrats!
