Hey guy’s going up to ludington to fish hamlin this weekend any reports of ice in the area as well as fish reports I know there are a few guys from the GR area that could lend me some info on thier ice if there is any?
Good Morning. I am in the extreme corner of Indiana but I know the ice in the GR area is well…gone. We fish Saginaw Bay every winter and we can’t even get out on that right now! We have been having to travel 8 hours north to the UP just to get on ice. Little Bay De Noc has 12″ of ice and that is about the only option we have right now. I did manage to get this 30″, 10# girl up there two weeks ago. Hope this helps and good luck. Is it ok if an Indiana guy hangs out here?

wow nice fish…. i live up right next to the u.p. and we have plenty of ice up there i go to school in illinois so trying to find ice is a struggle for me as well and yes indiana guys are more then welcome to chime in lol. thanks for the post i feel like a loner not being from minnesota o this forum let me know if u take a trip up to the u.p. u probably drive right past my house.

Sorry Nathan, I live in the U.P. but I’m about as far north and west as somebody can be and still keep their feet dry in Michigan…am not of much help in trollville.
