I don’t know about any of you, but I thought I was going to have a heart attack when pulling my sled back in on Saturday? I think it would have been easier to tip my truck on it’s roof and pull it out there.

Has anyone ever used ski wax on the bottom of your sled, and did it work? Can’t wait till I can drive out there.

You need to build a “Smitty Sled”

150 $ Vs 15 $ … Plus the runners on the Ice Tech Sled freeze up in slush.

Any opinions and weather it would be cross country ski’s or downhill ski’s? Would it matter that much?

I find if you add a second rope to attach to your pull rope on your sled. You get a greater mechanical advantage.

or … maybe instead of pulling your sled out

you should consider driving your sled out

With ANY vehicle, a lot depends on the driver

I’ve seen guys tear up clutches and transmissions in CORVETTES

Interesting. With all the Wilcrafts out there I haven’t heard one complaint until now.

Shoot me a pm with the details Fishwater.

I hope I’m not prodding too deeply, but what where the “other problems” and what were they caused by?

Hah! I’ll raise my hand to rescue them with or without a Wilcraft!

I know Tom a little, but enough to know he stands behind his products. I hope some of this was covered under warranty if they just broke, or at least a discounted price?

Either way, thanks for sharing. I’ve been in them a couple of times and admiring them from a distance. (Wilcraft, not to be confused with the Bikini Ice Fishing Team)

    Just to be clear here
You’ve been in a Wilcraft a couple of times?
    and
You’ve admired the Bikini Team from a distance? (a distance likely established by the FW)
