    Mid-November!

I just got back from running errands. It was actually SNOWING. Of course no accumulations. Hopefully that holds off until some of the cold temps on the way can build some ice. Thursday and Friday don’t look too bad for making some ice. Of course temps do jump back up based on the forecast I’m seeing.

Will this 3 day “cold spell” be enough to get you out in your area?

    Double-

Sorry to hear that. I haven’t looked into a detailed forecast for MPLs/St. Paul. I’m really hoping we don’t see anything like that.

Any accumulation should just about destroy whatever is left of the ice.

I’m just hoping this three day cold spell won’t be enough to freeze me out of my area!

Looking at 6-10 up here, just not good, our largest lakes still only have 3-4 minimally on the main lake portions and it will become a sloppy mess out there on the others…

We may not even get to drive trucks on the ice this season, which wouldn’t break my heart. The less vehicles the better fishing in my opinion. The exercise is always good for the body also

Due to the ice conditions I’ve been towing by hand almost exclusively this winter save one trip to LOTW. I’m down 7# so this lack of ice does have an upside.
