Purchased a LX-5 about a month ago and used it for around 6 hours Sunday. I plugged the charger in 20 hours ago and it still shows red? This is a new unit and I have used it around 8 times and it always charged with no problems, is it normal to take so long to charge? It would always go to green before in around 6 to 8 hours?
Put a multimeter on it and see if it’s outputting anything. Also, even though it doesn’t indicate it via the light, is it fully charged now?
I think it is a bad charger, I just tapped the charger with my finger while it was plugged in and it turned to green. When I unplug it and plug it back in it turns to red until you tap it real soft then it goes back to green. I think it is charging just that the light is bad.
Had the same issue with a new vs625 camera charger, brand new would not work. Emailed Marcum service on Wednesday, charger was in hand by Saturday, no questions asked. Hooked it up Sunday after a weekend on the water and it works. Happy boy here.
