Have all your honey-holes dried up? Tired of fishing the same places in the same way? I’ll be sharing techniques that James and I use when finding and breaking down new bodies of water to fish by species. We’ll use everything at our disposal, including lake maps, GPS, aerial photography and fisheries reports to put together all the pieces of the puzzle. Instead of waiting on fishing reports to check out a new body of water, be the one making that fishing report!

Show up for the seminar, and stick around for the after-show discounts.

While the above topics could take up far more of my allotted time than we have, I’m wondering if there’s any related topics folks would also like to see discussed at this seminar?

If you were to attend, what else would you like to see or hear about?

    I’ve got a question….

Can you come a little closer to Madison and give a seminar?

You should be giving the seminar in Madison. I’m “the-other-Joel” down that-a-way!

    I have a question! I have a question!

…but I’m guessing this isn’t your cat fishing seminar.

. OR maybe a video of the lecture which I would gladly pay for. The trip would be cost prohibitive.

Why is it you hear so much about being quiet in the summer, but you guys drill 100 holes in 3 acres and it doesn’t seem to bother things?

Thanks for all the kind words guys, it was fun doing it. We covered alot of information, and for those wishing to go back and check it out, it should be posted here in short order.

Thanks again to all the IDO brethren, I really appreciate everyone taking time out of their Wed. night to come and say hi.

Joel, great job in covering a lot of information Thanks for keeping the secret on using fisheries data I thought I was the only one crazy enough to sit here for hours reading through years worth of compiled information on the lakes I’m interested in fishing
You made an awesome point abut sometimes the “big” fish aren’t on the surveys. A local lake near me had a fyke net come loose and drifted out over deeper water that would normally not be part of the survey. By chance, I was talking to a creel census guy that told me about the huge gills that had been caught in it. 30-40 fow suspended – who would have thought?
    Great seminar!
