    Was out there today. Got 4 bass, 3 crappie and a bunch of little sunnies. Bass were caught on shiners and euro larva. Saw some pike caught across the lake but it seemed to slow down as the pressure increased.

    About 8″ with someone on a four wheeler who thought we were the center of a racetrack!

    FYI,

    Jane was 8-9″ all over. No fish unless you like an occasional 4″ perch or potato chip sunny.

    im glad to see nothing has changed on the lake since i was a kid..lol..how many permanent houses out there..just curious

    Nothing too big and no permanents. I used to love fishing this lake in my waders. I could never break the 20″ mark though.

    the reason i ask is im considering putting my shack on there or lake elmo next year..just for a change and a little more variety and consitant action then the croix can be..down side is no shacks and no people around usually means your crap gets broken into or destroyed..
