I assume you have anchor points in your truck bed to place a lock????

    1. utilize a smaller cable that would go through where the tow hitch pins gp through.
    2. use a larger cabel and go around or between the poles that extend to make the shelter larger. Any smart person know they could just extend the pole and they come apart but most criminals are morons to start with. Just make the cable visible…

Make the cable asvisible as possible to deter would be theives.

Those are my best guesses. also lock tail gate…

Menards sells coated cables with loops on each end. Like mentioned thread through the frame and snap a padlock on the loops.

Thieves are generally lazy and spontanious. They will grab something out of the box of your truck but usually won’t work real hard at it.

Why don’t you take it out and put it in the garage when you’re not using it?

Lock it in the back or your truck with a cable lock, rig a battery operated window alarm to it and park it close to your bedroom window.

I use a Python treestand cable lock wrapped looped and knotted around my tow bars and through my cargo tie downs in the bed of my truck… even if they do try to get it out of there it will take so long to figure it all out hopefully it will be long enough for me to catch them in the act then…. the beating ensues…….

Could you use a lock-r-bar to go across the bed of your truck like some boats have? If the shack is big enough, it would be awfully tough to get around one of them.

Would you want to pIck up a used topper to put on the truck??? I love having a topper – it locks – but most importantly, it gets stuff out of sight.

Steel cable lock bolted onto a 12 volt battery.

Really though the above ideas are you’re best bet.

I don’t know about you but I would tie this deer up in the back of the truck and not worry about it.
