Aqua Vu Scout Problem?..

    Hi guys, I’m new here but I need some help on an used Aqua Vu scout I just ordered. So it got here and I’m trying to turn it on but it wont. The seller said there was just a new battery put it. I charged it for awhile and it is still NOT turning on. I spent around $100 on it so im hoping someone could help me. Thanks

    I’m not going to be much help. If the connections to the battery are intact and the on/off switch is functioning, the only other thing left would be to check the battery with a voltage meter. If there’s 12v’s, there’s something wrong with the camera. If there isn’t at least 11v’s, you’ll need a new battery.

    Did you happen to check if there is a fuse linked between the battery and the camera?? On both the cameras i’ve had they have a small 2 or 3 amp fuse.

    Check the brightness too.

    There is two power settings and only one of them will turn on the camera. Try that and the inline fuse and see what happens.

    I had aa Aquae view and the screen would not come on, as I wiggled the wire going to the monitor, it would flicker, and I call Aqua view, 866-755-6303, and they helped me out.
