Frabill Recon DLX Opinions?

I found what appears to be a pretty good deal on a Frabill Recon DLX last night and I was wondering if any of you have or currently do fish out of one and what you thought of it. My only concern after sitting in it is that for a guy that’s 6’4″ with long arms, there isn’t much depth to the fishable area (I can just see myself setting the hook and breaking a rod on the front wall).

Are my concerns legit? BTW, the shack is new and on sale for $169.

I would look on a deal for the Frabill Commando, as it gives you more head room and more room up front. I am 6’3″ and have fished out of one of these for the past 3 years. I run 2 holes if I am setting up for a bite and don’t have any issues.

I’m 5’11 and I have enough room to move around but not much. My knees hit the sides. The seat isnt the best either, hurts after about an hour of sitting.

I can fish two 6″ holes, but just barely. Dont think two 8″ers would fit.

One hole, the marcum, and a lantern/heater fits but not by much.

I looked at those and passed on them due to size constraints, I’m 6’3″ 230 and i just didn’t fit in it. I ended up buying a Clam Kenai for $200 at scheels, its a great shack, well built, more room. I run two 7″ holes with my vex and a heater with room to spare. The only down side is the weight as it is a little heavier than the frabills.
