I live in Ohio and we have not had any ice. I am considering possibly going somewhere ice fishing this year for 3 or 4 days. I like to fish for gills croppie walleye not much experience with perch because they are few and far between on my lakes. Perch croppie big gills and walleye would be good. I have never caught a big pike before. Where and when what guide would you choose?

Good advice ecnook. Another good spot would be the LaCrosse area. Lots and lots of places to fish there. And there would be some IDO members that would help a guy out.
