    Still waiting for my Noodle rod. Don’t even want to call for a update – Just hope to see it sometime this ice season

    I ordered my Power Noodle Nov 23rd and Pat told me yesterday the blanks are still on back order. My Quiverstik will be here any day though. I guess I should say the “wifes” Quiverstik will be here any day.

    Powernoodles won’t be ready anytime soon, but they have a solution. They are carrying a new line of rods that is very similar.

    I wouldn’t call that a solution but rather an alternative.

    Matt Johnson posted on another forum and gave the skinny on the Power noodles. Apparently, their supplier also contracts for NASA and has to put them as a priority. They have been dragging their heels on the blanks since they ordered them in June. Nothing Thorne Bros can do about it since this company is the only one that can make the blanks to their specs.

    I mean, c’mon. What’s more important; putting a few people in space where there aren’t even any fish (that we’re aware of) or ice fishing? The answer is obvious.
