I’m hoping to pick up a wheeler and trailer Friday night. I plan on being on the ice between 6 and 7. It’s only a 5 minute walk and with very little to no snow cover the walk will be a breeze.

Yea us old guys may need a tow!! I will have the hitch for my shack along so a tow would be very much appreciated. I will be there bright and early, hopefully before the sun comes up.
Still trying to find a few guys to ride together out of the Eau Claire area, no luck yet.
If I was in Eau Claire Id ride with but will hopefully be there to watch the sun rise as well.

yeah tindall there is right down the street on the WI side at 2 diff gas stations.
James has told me that he is bringing his wife, a co-worker says he’s bringing his wife and I believe BK is bringing Pug or vice-versa ???
There is bait available at the Holiday Station store downtown Hudson. I suggest med-small fat heads and large crappie minnows. There is also bait available at the Village Liquor in North Hudson which is located right across the street from the Village Inn.
I just picked up a pail full of crappie minnows and fatheads and will be hitting the ice all day Friday. If anyone is getting into town early give me a call. I know there will be a few of us out on the ice 
I’m off to hit the ice for the day and won’t be back on-line until tonight.
I have never ice fished here. Can we park on the ice at Ferry Landing then walk from there? How much ice is out there?

I texted Jesse and got an update. He’s got 8 on the ice and the bite is good.
He also busted the fuel line on his auger. That’s usually something that happens to me…when I borrow other people’s equipment. Who’s drilling my holes?

They were parking on the ice last weekend. Not a problem. Walkings good for a person…a ride is easier. LOL!
