    I stopped in at Cabelas last night for some Christmas shopping and to check on the status of my backordered LX-7.

    Well I guess I was a day too late as I found out Marcum had shipped some LX-7’s directly to Cabelas and had I been there yesterday they would have cancelled my backorder and one of those in store units would been mine However, Kara at the customer service desk went way above and beyond what she had to do by calling 3 stores until she found an available unit at the store in Michigan and express shipping it to my parent’s house up at Mille Lacs at no extra cost to me just so that I could have it in time to spend all next week fishing!

    Thank you very much Cabelas and Kara!!! You just made my Christmas vacation a whole lot more fun

    Nice Will. I would love to see one of those units in use. Maybe a guy could get invited up to fish with a fellow IDO member ..

    My Lake of the Woods trip was fantastic but I am ready to ice some more eyes

    I called Cabelas last night to check on the status of my backordered LX-7. The email I received from them said it was due in 12/16 to 12/19. They told me that their computer was down and could not check but to call back. I will just have wait.
