    Me as well if it were in the Mille Lacs area. Perhaps a late season Perch fest. That would give us good time to fit it in the schedule. -Mark

    I know it would be a bit unpractical due to the distance. But wouldn’t it be cool to go invade Rainy with 100 IDO guys. We would even put a dent on all of the fishy locations.

    I had noisy neighbors in the hotel. One call to the front desk and they all came over with beer.

    I’m game… I’ve always thought it would be a lot of fun to have a group meet up on Mille Lacs and take over an entire mud flat. We could bring along some grills and have barbeque at the same time

    I was thinking about the Croix in late January early February. Close to hotels, bars and access to many smaller lakes if the Croix isn’t producing. Also it is kind of centrally located for people who come from MN and WI and there is plenty of room to fish without disturbing the locals

    Be nice to see some of the Iowa guys who frequent the GTG’s also

    o.k. This is unofficial but I’m going with :

    St. Croix River Hudson WI.

    I’ll post GPS coordinates as the date approaches

    Here’s a list of local hotels

    The Royal Inn is probably going to be cheapest at $60 a night

    I don’t have any deals but I’m gonna see if I can’t get something whipped up.

    We said please and thank you to the nice officer that made sure we got home safely. Gator and Pusscakes looked right at home in the back seat.

    An ice fishing GTG sounds like fun….official or unofficial.
