Looks like I’m a bit rougher than I thought on my ice rods. I have a soft case from Cabela’s (no not a plug for them), but may have broken 2 rods since last winter in it. Does anyone have a suggestion on a “hard” case for ice rods that can hold several, is not too big and bulky, and doesn’t weigh a lot? I like to stay pretty mobile on the ice.
Otter makes a nice hard case I have had one for years, and it is great.

Pull out the dividers and easily carries four ice rods. Holds up to 36″ rods also, I believe. I have up to 34″ in it and still room. Put a couple rod sleeves on and you can get more than 4 in it.

Gregs is a really nice one you can even drive over it however I saved a few $$ and got a 36″ shotgun case from Walamrt during the Black Friday sale. Bestdarn case for themoney. $30… If you want the best you should check Gregs out.
