Ok, I just bought this unit and assembled it myself. I am confused and am wondering if I did something wrong. Basic issue, if you tilt the Ice-55 so you can see it if standing up (I am 6’3″) the transducer cable plug at the back of the unit hits the ram mount for the 385ci and you can not tilt it very far? I have tried it all over the place and no go. I moved it to the left side and the battery terminals to the right side and I have space. Why would they say to mount it on the right side in the instructions? I call Humminbird and they say no one has complained of this? SO, leads me to believe I have done something wrong but I followed the directions to a T and had someone else double check my work? Also, I did not know the bag does not close over the 385 when attached- you need to carry seperate- makes no sense either- am I also doing something wrong with that? If not, new field testors are needed for Humminbird! Help please.
