    Thanks

If it is the older tubing your talking about, pull the poles apart and file both the insides and the outsides of the ends. Many times there are burrs that cause binding issues. Scotchbrite the poles too. I hope this helps.

I just got done putting my otter pro cabin together. I did not try it yet, but they say spray poles with wd 40 or something similar. If that does not work try to dburr the inside and outside of the poles with light sand paper or file. Maybe try using scotch brite pads on the poles also. Let me know if something works because I have not had a chance to get mine out of the basement yet. Maybe this will help

a little silicone spray always seems to help on my house. spray it on a towel and wipe down the inner rail and close it a few times…repeat as necessary.

Works wonders… I did this when I first got mine a few years ago and it has worked flawlessly since.

I’d never down grade “clam”….. Lol
No I’m sure clam makes a decent product but I can’t complain at all about my portable.

Very god choice WD40 has a tendency to dry out after time and get sticky, plus collect dust and dirt.

I would radius the ID of the tubing, rather than just an angle. And just polish the ends afterward.Should need very little or no lube on it.I did that on a Frabill frame, and had no binding.
