I’ve never used those before, assuming they’re different that the FXE Task gloves. Let me know how you like them.

They’re easier to get on than the FXE’s comparing XL’s to
XL’s. I’ll report back after my first ice outing.

I have a pair of those and they work great. I think I only paid $30 at fleet farm, though. Either way, $25 ain’t a bad deal.

    Dan-
thanks for the post. i’d been looking for a pair for quite a bit.
    great price too.

to answer your question, if the company doesn’t have brick and mortar presence in your state, they do not need to charge sales tax.

    thanks again.

I’m pretty sure L and M is based out of Grand Rapids, MN and has several locations. The one in Grand Rapids is a nice store.

I checked out these gloves at Thorne Bros last weekend. They didn’t look like anything special to me. The FXE gloves look like they would be nice though.

L&M is an awesome store. Like Wal-Mart started out in a garage in Grand Rapids, MN. I usually hit L&M at least once every time I’m up there visiting the folks.

Great store and a great price. I love my Task Gloves. I need a second pair or even a third just cause.

Never tried these gloves but I just bought my dad and myself the FXE task glove for Christmas. I will have to wait to use mine so he doesn’t get jealous and go buy a pair lol. I was able to get the FXE gloves for a little less then $25

They are insulated. I love them not only for fishing but hunting.

Visited my son in Grand Rapids and called him on my way out to tell him about this awesome store. L&M Fleet Supply! I tell everyone about it . Can’t wait to visit him again.

Do they actually work? I have been through too many pairs of gloves trying to find one that works. I want them thin enough to feel a light bite and bait a minnowhead, waterproof and built to last at least a full season. It has been a saga but if someone that has these believes they actually fit my criteria can you stick your hand in a bucket of water and give them a real test?

Had a pair since last season, good glove but they don’t breath the best if your very active (or out of shape)! Still a great pair of all around gloves for after your set up, going to the tip up… etc. Bottom line worth the $25-$30 bucks. JMO

L&M is an awesome store no doubt about it. I almost go there weekly, the problem is I go there cause I need something and come out with things I didnt really need and not what I needed Very easy to get side tracked. Oh and their customer service is great!

I ripped my FXE gloves chucking a bit in my cordless.
I shouldn’t have been using them for work but I didn’t
have anything else in the truck at the time.

So if you get a pair use them for fishing only!

I tried a pair on earlier at the show. They are lightly insulated, so I would not say they are thin.

I ended up buying a pair of $15 “Glacier Glove” from the Marine General booth (along with a pair of FXE bibs). There were 2 versions. I bought the Miltac, very basic looking with a velcro strap around the wrist. They are a fleece lined neoprene glove, thin, and form fitting. Probably not the most durable like an FXE glove, but seems like they should work very well for handling live bait.
