thorne bros perch sweetheart rod?

    i just recently ordered a thorne bros 32″ perch sweetheart rod was wondering from watching the video they have on the thorne bros site that a number 5 jigging rap would be to heavy for this rod but after watching the back bone of the rod from a past episode on ido for late ice perch it looks like it shoud be fine was wondering what everyone else’s thoughts were i’m mainly gonna fish walleye and jumbo perch with this rod with the number 5 rap its the go to lure where i fish…..

    The perch sweetheart handles 1/8 – 1/4 oz. lures well so a #5 jigging rap at 5/16ths oz. should be fine.

    Yes you will be fine as James said. I used a 28 inch perch sweetheart on LOW and 1/4 oz spoons with no problems. So you will be just fine.

    thanks for the help i feel alot better now can’t wait to hit the hard water soon….. also great job with the shows so far james keep it up…..
