    Initial impression = AWESOME!

I had the house out the other day on a local lake for the first time and yes, as many of you have asked, she’s a winner! The new wild is going to be a pure fishing machine! From the strongest aluminum square tubing in the industry, to the water resistant 900 denier insulated top, this house will perform, period.

I can certainly tell that this house will live up to the abuse and trials that us ice heads put them through on a daily basis. A lot of my fishing is done by pulling my shacks by hand, especially early ice when we have less than 5 inches, and if someone is concerned about increased weight changes, let me be the first to tell you, that should be the absolute least of your concerns, as I honestly think it is humanly impossible to tell the difference, even when pulling through snow and slush as i did the other day.

The insulated top is going to be a life, and propane saver alike during those cold winter days! Temps were in the high 20’s with winds approaching 15 mph the other day when i was out and i am glad i left all the propane in the truck! The flip up bench seating system is another plus for this house, as I was skeptical at first. I love how it flips down and out of the way to make packing/unpacking the sled a breeze.

These were my initial thoughts as there is so much more to try out on this house and put it through, but i have a good feel for how it will perform and I am more than excited to put it through the northern winter workout!

AND……….It looks like you were lacking some “Banking” snow.

I was able to sit in one of the Otter “Wild” series houses in a retail store a few weeks ago Grant. Very nice!! Heat escapes through the roof. Insulated roof = WISE!! Staying Warm = MORE FUN!! Less Propane Burned = Saves $$!!

So the real question Grant………Did you pull it out with your hockey skates laced up.

Great shelter there! The bench seats are nice and eazy on ones bottom side. The TC top is nice to, I like the black ice camo. Price point, I was at a biger box store a week or so ago that handles all shelters. Talking with the owner for just his thought on them, quote, he said it they are a no brainer for how they are built and how nice they are and for the price it is the best shelter out in his lot! ” something great for less $$”! Under priced for what they are. With that said I already knew these shelters were on fire for store sales.

I am looking to buy the wild cabin. Does anyone know how good the deals on them will be at the ice fishing show? I found one for $450. Does anyone think I can get it cheaper at the show?
    Thanks!
