Snow Machine Auger Mount/Pics

    I took some turkey time today and made a front mount for the snowmachine. I used some tubeing i found that inserts one piece inside the other. I made a solid inside mounted tube and then removable external mounts.

    Very nice! It appears it’s removeable too?

    If you care for my $.02, I learned the hard way where the extreme pressure points are on my auger mount. I would weld a cross member to 90 angle weld below the auger powerhead, and the opposite side. My auger mount was really reinforced for this coming season after a major break.

    Yes, you most certainly want a brace in there. It wouldn’t be long the way it sits before a weld cracks.
