I finished up my last day of hunting hoping to get a big Hennepin County city buck but had no luck. All the hunting gear was put away after the morning sit and the ice fishing gear was taken out.
Fist ice auger, all the things that Cal posted earlier was done and fresh gas was put in. Took 10 pulls to get it going. All rods restrung and lures put on for the 2nd weekend in Dec LOW trip. Takle boxes gone though and inventory taken. X2 and two bar checked over. LX-5 batteries rotated, Maxcum VS-360 battery charged and everything checked and is working.
Ice Castle cleaned, new light bulbs, generator started, batteries charged and ready to go. I know its a little early for the Ice Castle but I was just to exicted. All zerks greased, propane filled, new batties in the carbon monoxide detector.
What else am I forgetting?? Clothing is ready to go along with good boots and gloves for Dec.
I think that I have a good start on everything and am close.
Bring on the ice babby.
