Maybe this has been asked a hundred times already, but why did Clam stop making the Trap Link on the fish houses?
I heard one time it was a copy rights thing, but I have never seen another fish house with them…..ALSO, why doesn’t anyone else make links like it for their houses? Seems to me like it would be a hit with the costumers.

    Greg,
I have the Yukon with the link option sewn in the back. I don’t know about the copyright issue, but, my .02 is that it looks like a pain to set-up, no mobility, I have to imagine that the wind would make it shake and vibrate like crazy, etc….Sounds like a great marketing tool but I can’t say I’ve ever seen one setup at any of the lakes I’ve been to.
Love my Yukon just the way it is.

My Brother and I purposly both bought clam yukons about 6 years ago so we can link togather if we find the mother-load or if we just wanted to share beers or somthing. For us it has worked great. Its very easy to zip togather and fits nicely in the pouch under your seat. Both of our clams are still going strong although he should have bought runners since he wore a hole in the sled, due to pulling it with a 4 wheeler. In my opinion its a great option to have.

Agree on the link being sweet. Got one a number of years ago. I always have the link zipped onto the canvas. My brother and I both have yukons. In a pinch we had 8 guys watching tipups and drinking some cold ones.
