I know how you feel. My plans for fishing the day after Thanksgiving aren’t looking too promising right now. Water temps were 48 degrees on a small metro lake on Wednesday.

It can change in a hurry, though.

I had to put my boat away because some stupid neighbor called the cops to complain that it was on the street instead of just coming to talk to me. Am I really that intimidating?

Now I have to pay a stupid parking ticket.

That kind of thing is why I love living in the country.

Fishing is just getting good. The short rods and Vex have been getting a workout.

I think I might take a break from hunting this weekend to check the ice on a local lake; 6500 ft. and it’s been cold

So now u know how all us in the SW portion of MI feel every year. 90% of the time we can’t get out on most of our waters until after Christmas anyways. So I hate to say it but I have no sympathy for ya.
