The past few weeks watching the ice videos over and dreaming about it, the ice fishing bug has set in. hell i even put the chains on the wheeler already 
i got to know if anyone had fished by breezy point resort on pelican lake,this summer,we take our annual trip there the first week of january, but the past 2 years it has been very very slow for us. if any on has any info that would be great.
download a program called pro pilkki. its an icefishing game that will get you going crazy even more.

My parents have a timeshare at Breezy Point resort. Years ago we used to sit out in some of the permanent houses they had for guests. I never caught a walleye. My understanding is you may want to concentrate your efforts on night fishing as far as walleyes go. The water as I remember it was very clear. 
It is a great bug to have it says one thing you will be more than ready by first ice. Its tuff I have the itch myself and it will be worse by the end of the week when I get my new Otters and Im there puting them together. I’m sure I’ll sit in them for a long while before steping out back to the garage floor that kind of looks like ice lol! 
The icemen comith,if I check rods and reels any more I’ll go crazy.
