Recommendation for Mille Lacs Ice House Rental

Three buddies and I are looking to plan an ice fishing trip for the first week of January. We’re going to be renting a house out on the lake. I looked at all the outfitters and narrowed it down to either Appeldoorns or Hunter Winfields. I’m really torn about which one to go with. Does anyone out there have strong feelings for one or other? Both places have really nice houses but it all boils down to which one has a better track record for catching fish. What do you think? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I know Mike and his guys at HW better than Paul, but Paul is a first class cat as well! Either way Id be pretty damn excited to fish!

Both are excellent places. I tip my hat towards Paul at Appledorns because of the customer service that I received from him and his crew last year when I was a season road pass holder.
Of the hunter shacks that I saw last year, I think that they are moved a little more frequently as the ones I saw were all wheel houses and a lot easier to move if needed.
