I went today for the second time with the Vex. Both times I have had big catches of Crappie. It feels good to be watching the vex and jigging like i,m on the ice. Now that the Crappie have gone deep it makes the fishing more interesting. I have a trolling motor xducer and i,m using a 4 1/2 foot rod. This way i can keep the jig in view when it is calm. Many more days to do this comeing. If you havn,t tried this method give it a try sometime.
