    We got shotguns, bows and rifle to work with before ice fishing! I like ice fishing but will never understand why so many obsess with it, one should be able to catch far more fish during the summer.

    I hate the heat. I hate sunburn. I hate bugs. I hate jetskis and inconsiderate boaters. I hate having to tow my boat everywhere.

    I love ice fishing. I love the smell of auger exhaust as it hits my frozen nostrils. I love the droning, hypnotic hum of the Vexilar. I love the smell of the ice and snow. I love the sound of a nice crappie stripping drag off my reel. I love the uncertainty of approaching a flag up. I love ice fishing.

    A little modification to a quote, but would be a good Tshirt/sweatshirt.
    Its also a lot cheaper, don’t need to 20k or more boat.

    I love the heat. I’d rather put on sunscreen that a bunch of layers of clothing. Buy a Thermacell. Jetskis and ice aguers sound about the same, and there’s pleny of inconsiderate a-holes on the ice. I hate having to load a bunch of ice-fishing crap in my truck.

    Ice belongs in my gin and tonic. Hang in there, summer!!!

    That’s a losing battle, Ralphie boy. Just look at the trees. They’re already starting to wilt and get ready to turn colors. The air feels ‘autumny’. Sturgeon season is just a few days away and that’s the harbinger of ice fishing season. King Boreas is never far away.

    Pull outcher long johns, lads. Winter’s a comin!

    I’m excited as well, nothing beats watching that graph & seeing a fish come in off bottom to “SMACK” your lure…….!!
