Ice spoon storage

Ok, I need a little help here and I’m hoping that more eyes on the issue will help save it. I saw an incredible box for ice fishing spoons on YouTube but, of course, never made note of the brand or even the video and now I can’t find it! I’m looking for a small box that lets you “clip” the eye of the spoon in and then there is a place for the hook that keeps the spoon under slight tension so that it does not slip around. Has anyone seen this? Any hints on were to find it? Thanks for your input!

Clam has one with foam slots that works well. The box itself is a bit on the weak side (latches especially), but one box holds all of my spoons securely and untangled.

I saw that Clam box a few years ago at Cabelas. They had 3 on the shelf and 2 of them had busted latches. Took the idea and made my own out of a Plano box with pro latches and foam from a craft store. Works great.

Are these the boxes you’re referring to?

X2 for Lure Lock. They also have some boxes with lights on them. Pretty slick when fishing in the dark

Gruv Boxes are pretty nice. They aren’t cheap but they do keep your spoons from getting all tangled up.

Those Plan D boxes look pretty great, but holy cow are they expensive.

Yes the clam boxes are not the best quality but if you take a knife and make a small cut between the spots they put in you can get like 4x the spoons in there.

You can make your own custom spoon box really easy. Go to Home Depot, Menards, etc and get any of the deeper bolt, screw, hardware, tool whatever boxes/organizers. You’ll get the idea when your looking at these in the store.

Just pick one deep enough to hold the spoons like the clam box does.

I get all the same packing foam like the clam boxes free cause my wife buys a lot of things online.

Just cut the foam to size.

I paid like $10 bucks total and it’s way better then anything off the shelf. It has compartments in the top I can store anything I want then opens up to all the spoons.
