Still no ice where I’m, so, I had some time for another fishing relating activity – DIY tackle. I made a video on how I make strike indicators for my stiff fishing rods.
Thank you very much for this video. This is right up my alley. I obsess about stuff like this all the time.
I really like what the video is doing. I made some pretty good strike indicators out of guitar string, but I think you have much better indicators. I struggle with sensitivity for smaller jigs. This method should do the trick!
Thank you all for your comments! This encourages me to make new videos like this one. I’m going to publish them to my channel https://www.youtube.com/aseev every now and then.

Check his video out about the 50 different uses for PVC
Way cool!, I never thought PVC had so many uses.
Thanks for sharing these as well
Publish them here and I’d watch them. This video was slick and I’m going to try it.
I definitely will. I have the next video ready in which I’m making a hook remover tool from a household item that is not the first thing that comes to mind when one selects the material for a hook remover. But I want to include a clip with the field-test, and there is still no safe ice. So, maybe there will be a few weeks before I publish it.
