    Ice Report for Friday 11-28-14

    We are officially open to snowmobile and wheeler traffic!
    We drilled holes all the way out to the north end of The Weimer Flat this morning. The ice depth ran from 7 inches near shore to 8 inches off shore! We have really nice smooth black ice out front of the resort this year. We currently have the shoreline crack that is around 100 yards off shore. This crack is pushing up with the warm up in temperature today and it is wet today. We plan to lay some plywood over it allowing for use this weekend. I did cross one other crack out past the 26 ft break line that was 4 inches wide with a thin crust of ice covering it.

    Is Red door gong to have spear houses this winter?

    I pulled one out today! it’s setup just east of the resort. We are planning on having them available….call the office Mike! just bring your decoy and sharp stick!
