    Hi all,
I was on Blake last Friday, a good 6-7 of clear blue ice below the typical white stuff on top. Lots of ATV traffic.
With the rain the other day, does anyone have a current report? I’m headed to Bone, Blake and Big Round over the next few days.
Hate to make the drive all the way up only to find it turned bad….

    Anyone?
    TIA,
    Don

Lots of rain up here. Snow is gone from the lakes. The water on top of most lakes looks to have frozen over. Haven’t been on them but it shouldn’t take long to for the smaller lakes to be fine.

On Big Blake today. At least 5 inches of solid blue ice and anywhere from 1 to 4 inches of frozen slush/snow ice from the rain. The fishing has been a little slow.

Thanks for all the reports guys. I went on Blake, stayed close to the launch. I had really good action very early then it slowed as it got into late morning.
The ice is a little (ok a lot) un-nerving right now. There’s a good solid clear base but what’s on top is a little scary, really slick too.
Was making ice yesterday, lots of banging and snapping.

Good luck guys and most important….be safe out there.
