Ice ice baby!

10 acre slough by our house was completely frozen this morning… It won’t be long!

I might have to eat my words for predicting there was no way we would be on ice for our first episode on Nov 23. So you say there’s a chance?!

Yeah, my plan A for deer hunting went down the drain today with ice here. Plan B is a 45 minute walk in as I found out…
Maybe, I can get lucky and be able to walk the ice in later weeks? Huh, pipe dreams.

Skim ice here on the local lakes on my drive to town this past two mornings along with the snow…won’t be as long as I thought. Still haven’t finished my Spring chore list-where the heck does the time go?

I checked out a couple small ponds around the area in between hunts the last two days and they kept ice all weekend. It won’t be long!!

after next week we should see something as temps starts to go way down…got my thermacell insoles proflex ready..haha…
