Ice helix 5 settings question

    Just picked up a ice helix 5 just messing with it indoors until we get good ice. I noticed the transducer will change the frequency it clicks and the chart speed corresponding to it, it will be humming along as expected then clicks really slow and the chart comes to almost a stop it’s so slow, is this a setting I need to change?

    No, it’s just trying different frequencies to find a bottom that isn’t there.

    It will act normal in the water.

    Put it on simulation mode. Great way to learn how to use it
