My first one went bad after the first time of use, rapala replaced it 1/2 way through season 2 of the new one fingers crossed these things aren’t cheap.

FYI, I don’t think using the charger on regular batteries is a good idea.

I just realized one of my chargers is bad as well, it turns green @bout 13volts. I’d thought I’d a second battery failure until reading this post.

I initially had 6. One had a cell failure and died 2 years ago and another might just need to be charged now that i know the charger is messed up. The oldest set is 5 years old and working fine.

I’m on season 3 with mine. The charger went bad last week and had to buy a new one.

I think I’m on season 3 with mine. No issues thus far. This has me concerned though. I guess I won’t be buying a new one if it goes bad. Not worth the $150 if it fails after a couple years. Lithium batteries I thought were supposed to have a longer life.

Mine only lasted 2 years maybe it was working fine in South Dakota then all at once quit. I found the exact same battery on Amazon from Dakota battery for 99.00 we’ll see how long this one lasts.

Amazon look under Dakota Lithium 99.00 same specs as Ice Force. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the same mfg just different labels.

They are almost the same. I believe the Ice Force branded batteries don’t have the current limiting circuit protection to allow them to work in the older electric augers.
