Hi guys I just got into ice fishing hard core this year and want to target this lake and walleyes. I have found a few but not crazy. If anyone could just help me out as to the best places to set up and time would be great! I just really love catching them and need some help thank you!

Golden hour – the time shortly before and after sunrise/sunset is generic but works more often than not. Not sure of the water clarity so maybe a night bit, maybe not.

If I started with no knowledge the first places I would hit are the steep breaks. Maybe at the bottom of the break or at the bottom of the weedline. Look for changes like an inside turn.

For example where the “w” is for Woodford island and along that break to the north and east.

That doesn’t look like a very deep lake so maybe they’re weed walleyes??? that first screenshot might be worth look at too.

If it were me, I’d try the northern point, within the right side of the dotted circle and in between the number 9 and 12 and right above the little fish mark. I would set up in the deep and tip up in the shallow (or other war around). Walleye seemed to come from deep to shallow to feed in my experience. And u want to find their easy path up and down. That’s why u look for breaks in the shape of “U” or “V”. Also lake seems shallow, so maybe just not many there. Good luck

Wrong side of the lake. Go out of Mcintosh park and fish Ventura Bay.
