I am looking for a storage system to house my ice fishing gear on my snowmobile tunnel (2018 Switchback Assault). Ultimately, looking for a system that is quick to take on and off, as I use my snowmobile to also ride trails. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I saw a cool on Mille Lacs this past week.
He had taking aluminum bars stock and riveted it to the tunnel up high and in the back. It has three holes drilled in the bar stock that he had a rack that slid into it. Really slick set up. I wish I had a picture.
I believe most manufactures have some sort of quick connect system. I believe Polaris is called lock and ride but could be wrong. Gat some attachment pieces from Polaris and make your own or use them to attach a otter monster box etc… I just bought a Skidoo Expedition and they call their attachment system link and I bought the 135L box for the back plenty of room. I built one for my last Arti cat and bought the rails for quick connect from them.
