Ice Fishing Spoon Storage

What is everyone using for spoon storage? I’ve tried the typical plain plano boxes thrown in as well as the jig style boxes. The newer boxes designed for jigs seem inefficient and can’t fit many spoons. The plain plano boxes lead to tangled lures and a headache.

Are the Clam trays with the foam slots the best bet?

I bought a bunch of slim boxes from cabelas but unfortunately they have been discontinued. Link below are very similar. I really like them. I put each brand/kind of spoon in separate box. Keeps my spoons dry and organized. I just labeled the boxes on the edge with masking tape with whats in them.

I made my own foam boxes. Bought plano boxes with no dividers. Bought green foam from either a craft or fabric store and cut to fit. Use an exacto knife cut slits for spoons. Works good.
I almost bought the Clam box but there was 3 on the shelf at Cabelas and 2 of them had busted latches and it wasn’t cold in the store.

The gruv big jig box works decent for thinner spoons but will not work for thicker ones like the leech lake flutter spoon

I grabbed a couple of the Plano Spoon boxes. They have worked great for long term storage. Only grabbing what i plan to take on the ice each day. Also use them for Jigging Raps and Shiver Minnows.
