Ice fishing resorts lake of the woods

    Looking for a resort to fish on lake of the woods for 2-3 days in December. Preferably staying in cabins. Anyone have suggestions?

    I like River Bend and Wheelers Point. Nothing bad to say about either one.

    Ballard’s and Wheelers are both great resorts with great staff. I have stayed at numerous resorts on the lake and they were my favorite. Zipple is also good but the service on the lake hasn’t been up to par the last few times I’ve been there. Arnesen’s is very overpriced and I was not impressed by anything but the steaks in the lodge.

    Are you planning on renting resort houses or bringing portables? Linder’s Hideaway Cabins is located within sight of Cyrus resort, and they have three very nice cabins that our group has stayed in 5 or 6 times. Very comfortable, affordable, and still very close to access the Cyrus road if running portables.
