Ice Fishing Recommendations near Breezy Point MN

    Hey all.
    We recently purchased property north of Pelican Lake in Breezy Point, MN. I am an avid angler and have done quite a bit of pike spearing but none in this area. Are any of you familiar enough with this area to pass along a few tips on where I should start? I have a lot to learn about the MANY area lakes. Thanks in advance.

    All of those lakes up there have large populations of hammer handle northerns – you should not have a problem finding places to spear for them. With the clear water those lakes have, any weed line or weed bed should do you well.

    I suspect that with the clear water in Pelican the walleye bite will be in low light conditions…no?

    What about area panfish lakes?
