Heading to Cascade Lake in Idaho next month. We will be flying. How do we pack ice rods, electronics(LX9), lithium batteries, etc? Thanks in advance for any help.

Not for sure but thought I saw somewhere that lithium batteries are not allowed on planes.

Dump it all in a box and send it ahead UPS.

I’m flying to Colorado at the end of the month for a Lake Trout trip with my son and I plan on checking my Otter rod box and good size suit case with my Marcum in it disassembled. Not sure on the Dakota Lithium yet. I was gonna call SW and ask.

All lithium batteries have to be carried in cabin as carry on. Everything else will be ok in checked bags.

I always just ship everything ahead UPS. It’s so much easier then dealing with TSA.
