Ice Conditions out on Pepin ?

    I will be up to Arcadia visiting my family and wanted to bring my son in law out ice fishing… Was thinking about driving down to Pepin…

    Any ice conditions or fish report that you’d like to share would be greatly appreciated !!
    I have never ice fished Pepin but I would like to give it a try !!

    You can pm me if you want… I’m not really looking for your gps location just a point in the right direction and if there is even any safe ice out there ?

    Dave, was out by Maiden Rock on Monday. 14″ of ice, A few driving out. I don’t think I’d be driving after today…

    Was there on Monday and caught some nice crappie in about 14′ of water with some perch mixed in. Nubbinbuck is right on the money as far as where and I wouldn’t drive out there.

    We were out there again yesterday. Top of ice is getting real soft. Still people driving 1/2 ton trucks out there. Pretty slow, a handful of panfish…
