With this warm up, the ice has been expanding. As far as the south end goes, brantds had a heave next to shore and was working on the bridge over the crack about 1/2 mile out. Wilderness has been working on a bridge all afternoon off of mazzominee point. I don’t know what is happening on the north end, maybe bobber can chime in and give an update.
Thanks for the update PP. This is a great reminder for everyone heading up that paying $10 to access the lake through a resort and let them worry about shoreline heaves and cracks is money well spent in my book.

I filled the backhoe up with fuel on Wednesday….knowing that it was going to used some the next three days….The sheet of ice on the lake expanded with the warm up.
The Red Door access is open for all traffic. I plan to get to work early on Friday and Saturday hoping to have the bridge and access ready for when fisherman arrive. 5 degrees tonite..might open the crack up?
