I live in south michigan near coldwater. Have between 8-12 inches on the lakes around me. With this warmup coming will it hurt the ice or will it just melt a little and be ok? Have about 2-3 days of 40 degree weather with a little rain but the nights stay below freezing and sfter those days it goes back down into the low 30s 20s during the day
You more then likely will not lose any ice unless the snow pack is gone. Even then it takes more then 2-3 days to have an affect.
I live in SD and the ice has been crazy weird this year. A lot lakes have had open pockets of water on them pretty much all year. With how dang windy it has been despite the cold they have grown tremendously the last couple weeks. Im scared to see the damage on my lakes with the warm weather and wind we are getting this week.
