ice condition

    was wondering ice conditions on lake minnetonka, specifically black lake?

    I’d be skeptical of safe ice there. Drove past on Monday and Wayzata, Brown, and Gray’s Bay still had open water.

    Best to check yourself carefully with spud bar as you walk out.

    Just delivered to a construction site in mound. Can’t really see any truly open water but it doesn’t look great. Lots of cracks and of course the channels look sketchy as heck. I wouldn’t walk very far out if I were you, and yeah definitely check often as you go!
