    Hello,

I am just curious, if getting a single or tandem hydraulic Ice Castle frame, is there any kind of pin system that serves as a secondary “lock” when the house is in the up position for traveling? Or does it entirely rely on the the hydraulics? I am a guy that thinks redundancy is a good thing, but haven’t seen any kind of pin system for these. Let me know. Thanks

I just bought a single axle galvanized hydraulic frame made by valley mfg, the axle pistons have check valves, pin is not necessary, tongue has a pin. Just picked up the house last week and camping in it this weekend!

Does ice castle allow you to supply your own frame?

IceAsylum by T3 Trailers has electric lift with 3 position locking pin. They have a overlift position for steep banks or extra tailend clearance.

If your looking for just a frame I would suggest CW Welding out of Vesta, MN. Probably get a pretty good deal on one.
I believe these were made for Ice Castle.

Some are berkon, some are valley, mine is galvanized, not sure if berkon does galvanized frames, both have been around for a while.
