I am currently running a Milwaukee Fuel 18volt drill with the Nils Cordless Drill Auger (orange). I like this set-up because it cuts through the ice like butter. One of the drawbacks is even though the blade is doing all the cutting, and I put no force down on the drill, I don’t like how there is just the one contact point putting force on the chuck of the drill. I am considering of switching over to the Clam Conversion kit because of the mounting plate secures the drill and I can leave it mounted on my atv without having to detach every time I move. Has anyone used the Clam conversion kit with the Milwaukee Fuel? If so, how does it cut through the ice? Also, how does everyone mount their drill on their Atv for transport? Thank you for all the input.
