Saw a Clam shelter out on Orr Bay of Pelican Lake in Orr Minnesota. BTW, thats about the snow line up to the border. Snow on the ground South of Orr but bare ground North of there. We are expecting about 1″ of snow in International Falls Sunday.

We received a couple inches of snow in Outing overnight. When I woke and looked out the lake was still. I went lakeside and found that there was a layer of slush on the lake. Water temp must be right at 32 degrees.

I don’t know what to say. I love the view but don’t know that I would want to deal with the hill. Not that it matters, my knee wouldn’t make it possible even if I wanted to.

After thinking about it, give me the view! applause yay

Tram was the deciding factor. If it didn’t have it we would have passed on the place.
It’s a 60 second ride and so far performs great. We have it inspected annually.

Ya know……if you trimmed the posts on the dock a plastic sled might get you down that hill in like 30 seconds in the winter. devil Maybe a little water, think Olympic Bobsled / Luge track. jester

Put a safety net up at waters edge.I’m sure that would stop you.
