    The 9th Annual Trout Stocking Family/Kids Day, North Prairie Lake, Cedar Falls, Ia. January 7th 2012 has been *** CANCELED *** due to poor ice conditions!

    Canceled for good or postponed? I love watching and helping the kids there.

    From what I understand, the Ia. DNR is hoping to still stock the trout later this month,NOT the 7th, but as of now the Family/Kids thing is canceled. We usually have a spring stocking, kids day in April also.

    Ok, as of now, the DNR is stocking Jan. 20th, there will be NO Family/Kids Day along with this stocking. The next Family/Kids Day is April 14th, 2012. This will also be the spring trout stocking day.
